Design your rack,
connector by connector
Push-fit connectors for 20 × 20 mm square steel tube — a storage rack, a plant stand, a shoe shelf or a workbench frame that goes together by hand, no welding, no tools. Draw yours below: the page counts every connector from RM 1.96, the feet, and the tube from RM 8 a metre, cut to length.

The connectors — each arm takes 30 mm of tube.
Build the rack tube by tube, get the parts list
Pick a vertical or a horizontal tube, type its length and snap it to another — every joint gets its connector, every piece its cut length. Drag to turn the view, scroll to zoom.
Three steps from an empty drawing to a parts list
Pick Vertical, Horizontal X or Horizontal Z, type the length in millimetres and place it. The first tube stands at the origin; the axes show which way is which.
Every tube offers its two ends and its middle as snap points, or type a distance from its end. Click the point and the new tube runs from it — flip it to run the other way. A rail into the side of a post proposes a T, onto its top an L, at a box corner a 3-way.
The bill beside the drawing counts every connector and foot and lists every piece of tube to cut, each one 10 mm short of its joint for the connector. One button puts it all in the cart for WhatsApp.
A frame you build yourself
Each connector grips 30 mm of tube on every arm. Push the frame together — no welding, no screws, no tools — and take it apart again.
Any frame, not only a shelf: place each tube where you want it in 3D and the planner counts the parts as you go.
A 3-way corner at the top of each outer post, a 4-way where a middle shelf meets it, a 5-way at a post between two bays. Nothing guessed.
Every rail and post segment is cut to run between its connectors; the planner prints the cut list and prices the tube by the metre.
An adjustable foot set under each post takes up 15 to 33 mm of an uneven floor.
A storage rack in the store room, a plant stand on the balcony, a shoe shelf by the door, a workbench frame, a display stand for the shop.
Connectors and tube

Push-fit connectors for 20 × 20 mm square tube
An easy racking system is a set of thick-walled black push-fit connectors for 20 × 20 mm square steel tube. Each connector grips 30 mm of tube on every arm, so a frame goes together by hand and comes apart again just as easily.
Pick the connectors a frame needs: the 3-way corner at the corner of a box, the 4-way where a middle shelf meets a post, the 5-way where a shelf meets a post between two bays, the flat L, T and cross for a panel or a grid, the straight joiner to run two lengths of tube in line, and an end cap for every open end. An adjustable foot set under each post takes up an uneven floor.

Before you order
How does the planner count the connectors?
By what meets at each joint. Two tubes square to each other make an L; a rail into the side of a post makes a T; three tubes meeting at the corner of a box make a 3-way. Where a middle shelf meets an outer post four meet (post up, post down, a rail, the depth rail): a 4-way. A post between two bays, with rails from both sides and the depth rail, takes a 5-way. An open end gets an end cap, and a post standing on the floor a foot.
How is the tube cut?
Every rail and every post segment runs between two connectors. Each connector shows 10 mm of its own body past the tube end, so a length is the centre-to-centre distance less 20 mm — a 900 mm bay takes 880 mm rails. A post that a rail meets half-way is cut there into two, with the T between them, and a post's floor end is left full length for the foot. The planner prints the whole cut list and prices the tube by the metre.
What goes on the shelves?
Any 16 mm board or plywood, cut to drop inside the rails: the bay less 20 mm by the depth less 20 mm. The boards themselves are not included in the price — ask us if you would like them cut and supplied.
How wide can a bay be, and how much will it hold?
600 to 1,200 mm between posts is usual; the longer the rail, the more a loaded board will bow it. For heavy loads keep the bays short and add a post between them — the planner proposes the 4-way and 5-way connectors where the extra rails meet.
Can I keep a copy of the design?
Add it to the cart and the parts go to us on WhatsApp with your enquiry; paste the cut list from under the bill into the message to keep it on record. A PDF export of the 3D design is on its way.
Ready to draw your rack?
Design it above and send the parts list, or tell us the space you have and what it is to hold. A designer replies on WhatsApp with the quote.
