A mezzanine floor
that clips together
Galvanised 200 mm planks, 40 mm deep, that hook into each other across your steel joists. No welding, no concrete and nothing to cure. From RM 36 a metre of plank, or RM 175 a square metre of floor area.
A finished mezzanine, laid in this deck. 12 seconds, no sound.
Faster than concrete, lighter than it looks
What the plank is made to do.
Each plank has a hook edge. Lay one, clip the next over it, carry on. No welder on site, no welding sparks.
The embossed chequer top is the finished surface. No screed and no concrete, so once it is fixed down it is a floor.
Designed for about 500 kg/m² in 2.0 mm and about 750 kg/m² in 2.5 mm, without the dead weight of a concrete slab on your beams.
Planks are made to the lengths you order, so there is less cutting and less waste on site.
Galvanised to resist rust in the humidity of a Malaysian warehouse, workshop or terrace.
Made to your lengths by the factory and supplied through Renoox. The price on this page is the supply price for the deck.
One plank, two thicknesses

A steel deck is one of the quickest ways to add a floor: a mezzanine in a shoplot or factory, a storage loft over a workshop, a raised terrace or platform. Each plank is a 200 mm-wide, 40 mm-deep pressed galvanised section with an embossed chequer top, which is the finished walking surface.
Planks interlock along their long edges — the hook edge of one clips over the next and locks — so a crew lays them straight onto the steel joists with no welding and no screed. Planks come cut to the lengths you order, and because a plank is 200 mm wide a square metre of floor takes five metres of plank: 12 m² is 60 m, easy to count.
The 2.5 mm plank is designed for about 750 kg/m², the 2.0 mm for about 500. Tell us what will sit on the floor and we will say which thickness the maker rates for it; your engineer or contractor confirms the joist spacing and the fixing.

Anywhere you need a floor without pouring one
Three steps from steel frame to floor
Beams and joists by your contractor, or by ours if we are doing the job, sized for the span and the load.
Start from one edge. Each plank hooks over the one before it and locks, so the floor closes up plank by plank.
Fasten at the supports as your engineer specifies. With nothing to cure, the chequer top is the finished floor.

Before you order
Do I need to pour concrete on top?
Not for a floor like the one in the video: the planks are laid bare and the embossed chequer top is the walking surface, so there is no screed and nothing to cure.
Which thickness do I need?
The 2.0 mm plank is designed for about 500 kg/m², the 2.5 mm for about 750 kg/m². Tell us what will sit on the floor and we will say which thickness the maker rates for it; your engineer or contractor confirms the joist spacing and the fixing.
Who builds the steel frame?
The deck is supply only. The beams and joists are by your contractor, or by our own team if Renoox is doing the renovation — in which case the frame and the fitting are quoted together with the deck, on one bill.
How are the lengths decided?
Planks are made to order. Tell us the lengths you need — or send the floor size and joist layout and we work the lengths out with you — so there is little cutting on site.
How much do I need?
A plank is 200 mm wide, so one square metre of floor takes five metres of plank. For a whole floor, price the area at the per-square-metre rate; the per-metre price is for odd lengths and top-ups. The calculator above does the sums.
